Its very early to predict, though the FDI investment in india not only increase the standard of living but also the capital gain , Its alos provide a huge employement to a mass who where unemployed at this point of time, and ofcourse there is some hurdle, like small traders lossed there market, for that govt have to some policies to save the small traders

it is very early to guess the consequence of FDI in multi brand retail.this step is a part if economic reforms started in 1991.all these reforms has bring prosperity in the country.certainly bargaining powers of cultivators will be sacrificed to some extent.

FDI in multi brand retailing not only boost our economy but curbs inflation and through proper cold storage infrastructure and technology channelise our resources which are going rotten.

If we want to strengthen our economy as well as development we should accept FDI

due to fdi our economy groth will increase but it is simple thing is that every one want to earn more money.so the foreighner businessmen will also want to earn more profit. they will sell their product in more rates. so inflation will start in our country

i think that FDI in retail is good welcome to indian economics .This multibrand retail sector will come under organised sector .For that there will be some rules & regulations . in case of kirana shops this will come under unorganised sector . The people working in this unorganised sector won't get any bonus/salary hike etc.It encourages child labour also. It is not sure that all kirana shop owners are paying taxes correctly or not . Even many are not giving bills for the items purchased . Really there is a lot of difference between the person who are working in unorganised retail shops & organised retail shops. Also their entry is only allowed in cities having more than 1 million population . In any way this won't affect small retailers in villages . Entry of this FDI in retail will increase the competition hence quality of materials/items . so let us welcome the govt proposal od FDI in retail of 51%

Does any one of us think that the coming of malls reduced the living expense ?. Does anyone think that the coming of multiplexes reduced the cost of seeing a movie ?. The result of FDI in retailing eventually gives you comfort but not economic benefit. infact it drains our economy..and throws people out of jobs... just like it did in case of malls and multiplexes.

Demographic and other feature of indian economy is completely different from rest of the world.our economy can't bear the cessation of chain of middleman which is integral part of our retail sector.we have a huge population to provide employment with limited no. of resources and retail sector is strength of our economy and have acted as a shock absorber the time of recent recession.

will help in boasting indian economy
» Prashant jain, gwalior, 2011-12-13 00:22:05
it is very simple thing is that who will make the big malls and who will put the cold storage system and ac in their malls then they will not give product in cheap rates.
