Well, war is not a solution to everything but sometimes this path becomes necessity. killing of Taliban leader Wali-ur-rehman by drone attack is one such example. terrorism is all about destruction and war so giving back answer to them in their own words is a great step taken by Afghanistan. War may not fully eradicate terrorism but will slower down there pace in committing malevolent acts and ultimately making world a better and secure place.

The war in Afghanistan has been succeeded in curbing terrorism. The militant force i.e. Taliban has been curbed significantly. The remaining militia has shown interest in negotiation for peace building process which is itself a sign of weakening of terrorism activity.

I think Afghanistan has succeeded in curbing terrorism to some extend. But the way the US led international forces are trying to suppress the voice of the People of Afganistan is very dangerous and unparliamentary.US always tried to got their hands in the places where their interest needed. Afganitan's government has taken a good decision to take the resolution of not to fly the International Air Forces in the Public Area. India should have some better role in the process of restoration of public system in Afganitan.

To solve any issue, all the options to establish democracy must be used first including diplomacy, discussion etc. Afgan war was started after a major terror strike. That led war inevitable . i think war has helped to curb terrorism.

Terrorism is a way to to terrify common people. In afghanistan over a long period Taliban militants are threatning common people and make their life miserable.THey prevent girls from getting education, giving training how young boys how to handle weapons .This is not picture of a society,it seems hell to Afghans.War can't put all these to an end ,temporary solution can be found but for a permament something the common people must be empowered through proper education, opportunities of employment.War in Afghanistan just turned the nation into the hell.

In my point of view the war of terrorism has anything to do with the War with Afganistan, as Afganistan was just smaal state that was used by US to end the Soviet block but after the Ending of Soviet that block has just attacked the US, in my View terrorism can never be ended by war it will be ended only by using the measure peace talks as far as Afganistan is concerned it has just destoryed a symbol that represent the terror Block not the terrorism.

I think terrorism not the reason behind US led war against Afghanistan . Its the war of redemptions, these are vengeance of 9/11 aftermath. They stayed there for 8 years until they find laden after his death they are rolling out in just 2 yrs. Is their war ended in just 2 yrs after his death ... The real war against terrorism starts now.....

Terrorism is a global phenomenon. Here the topic concentrates about only Afganistan. So only Afganistan war cannot curb terrorism.Terrorism is a unwelcome and brutal mindset of few cheap people spread all over the world with differed goals. So the actual thing needed is self awareness.

This is not the fact , that for which area the debate is. The issue is how the important of the issues. Terrorism is the top most dangerous thing of this era. Awareness campaign is needed and always welcomed by a bigger portion of this world. But the fact is what is good to indian, is bad to Pakistan. A people may be a terrorist to India but he is a Jehadi for Pakistan.

No they(terrorists) shows their power time to time and they also has new technology based weapon systems, untill they don't get their mindset change and get rid of that(Jihad or whatever they called), no terrorists and terrorism can be changed.
