An indian rethink keeping up with dyanism in geopolitics
When the Chinese government started its Belt and Road (B&R) Initiative, it had plans to make India into a major partner. While China is still open to India participating in its initiative, India has stayed away citing reservations over China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and its sovereignty issues. Given the changing geopolitics with US coming under the leadership of Trump and reinventing its foreign policy that may take its focus away from South Asia, it is time for India to rethink its strategy and frame its foreign policy keeping up with the dynamism in its neighborhood and world geopolitics.
