Increasing prejudice against indian american community in U.S.
Go Back To Your Country are the words that has struck the chord every time an Indian has been shot at in United States in recent times. The harassment against the Indian community has become more pervading since the election of Donald Trump at the helm. The pride in success stories of Indian Americans living the American dream has taken a backseat behind carrying identification even when taking a walk, staying away from bars in mid-west and worrying about hate speeches. This has largely been a mistake on part of immigrant community in US to fight for their civil rights, racism and political participation. And this needs to be rectified.
