UPSC released Civil Services Examination, 2013 result

Union Public Service Commission released the list of candidates who have successfully cleared all the three stages – Prelims, Mains, and Personality Test – of Civil Services Examination, 2013.  Gaurav Agarwal topped the list followed by Munish Sharma (AIR 2) and Rachit Raj (AIR 3).

Unlike last year, women candidate didn’t figure in top three positions. Bharti Dixit topped among women candidates with All India Rank 5.

As many as 1122 candidates are recommended by UPSC for Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’. Out of total 1122 successful candidates, 517 candidates are from General Category, 326 OBC, 187 SC and 92 are from ST category. The number of vacancies reported by the UPSC at the time of notification was 1228.
The final result is based on the written part of Civil Services Examination, 2013 held by the Union Public Service Commission in December, 2013 and the interviews for Personality Test held in April-June, 2014.

Candidates, who have occupied the top ten position of the Civil Services Examination (Main), 2013 are as follow
