UPSC has issued the Time Table & Instructions to Candidates related to the post of airworthiness officer in the Office of Director General of Civil Aviation.

The exam will held on 29 July 2012 between 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.

c) Fluid Mechanics & Fluid Machinery 
d) Theory of Machines & Machine Design  
e) Strength of Materials & ENGINEERING MATERIALS 
f) Production Engineering & Industrial Engineering 
g) Electromagnetic Theory & Network Theory 
h) Electrical Materials & Components 
i) Electrical Circuits & Electrical Machines 
j) Measurements & Instrumentation 
k) Control Systems & Signal Systems 
l) Analog & Digital Circuits 
m) Communication Systems 
n) Computer Engineering 

SCHEME OF THE TEST: 

I. The test will be of two hours’ duration and the medium of the question paper will be English only.  
II. The test will be an objective type with multiple choices of answers and will carry a maximum of 100 marks. 
III. There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one- third of the marks assigned to that question.  If no answer is marked for a question, there will be no penalty for that question.     

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

• The candidate must bring the Admission Certificate-cum-Attendance Sheet to the Examination Hall.  After entering the Examination Hall, the candidate must sign the Attendance Sheet in the presence of the Invigilator on duty and then hand over the Attendance Sheet to the Invigilator.
• The candidate is requested to enter the Examination Hall 20 minutes before prescribed time for the commencement of the Test and get seated immediately on the seat bearing his/her Roll Number.   
• No candidate shall be admitted to the examination hall after ten minutes of the Scheduled time of commencement of the test.
• The candidate must mark the answers himself/herself with HB pencil by blackening the appropriate circle.
• Electronic or any other type of calculators, log tables, slide rules, cellular/mobile phones and such it gadgets /pagers or any other electronic equipment or device or any other equipment capable of being used as a communication device are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted.  Any infringement of the above instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.
